1 feature game this week, in the American Conference.

2/17/18- Tulsa (Will Brown) @ ECU (Al Hutt) -- Tulsa rolled to a 16 point halftime lead as ECU committed 23 turnovers in the game and the Golden Hurricane made 10 three pointers as they rolled to victory.

Final Score: Tulsa- 79, ECU- 65

Hartford (David Ginsberg) -- 16-13, 8-7 T-4th America East.

2/16/18 at Binghamton (W 74-61).
2/18/18 vs. Vermont (L 79-71).

The Hawks split this week, but their win total is already higher than it ever has been, so there is definite improvement. They have 1 more regular season game next week, and that will decide whether they will be the 4th or 5th seed in the America East tournament.

ECU (Al Hutt) -- 8-16, 5-9 8th American.

2/14/18 at #24 Memphis (L 80-71).
2/17/18 vs. Tulsa- feature game, highlighted above.

The Pirates lose 2 this week and 3 of their last 4 regular season games are against the top teams in the conference. Not a good way to finish.

Tulsa (Will Brown) -- 17-9, 9-5 4th American.

2/14/18 at #9 Cincinnati (L 65-61).
2/17/18 at ECU- feature game, highlighted above.

A split for the Golden Hurricane, who played Cincinnati much tougher this time around. They've got a favorable last 4 games to end conference play, so getting to 20 wins during the regular season is still a possibility.

Davidson (Randolph Childress) -- 19-7, 11-3 T-1st Atlantic 10.

2/14/18 at George Washington (L 67-59).
2/17/18 at Rhode Island (W 81-66).

A split for the Wildcats, who are currently in a 3 way tie for first with 4 games to go.

Clemson (Charles Johnson) -- 13-12, 7-8 9th ACC.

2/14/18 vs. Virginia Tech (W 84-78).
2/17/18 at N.C. State (L 86-59).

The 5 game winning streak for the Tigers ended in a big way with a blowout loss at N.C. State. They've got 3 conference games left, and none of them will be easy.

Duke (Dean Hoo) -- 14-11, 5-9 12th ACC.

2/15/18 vs. #5 Villanova (W 80-76).
2/17/18 vs. Wake Forest (W 75-67).

Are the Blue Devils finally waking up? That upset of Villanova would indicate that they are. They've also got 4 tough games to end the regular season though, so we'll see if they are truly waking up or if this was just a lucky week.

#10 Kansas (Dave Johnson) -- 21-6, 12-3 3rd Big 12.

2/12/18 at Texas (W 74-68).
2/17/18 at West Virginia (W 76-48).

2 solid road wins for the Jayhawks this week, and they've got a huge game against Baylor next week that may go a long way in deciding the Big 12 championship.

TCU (Bee Mighty) -- 9-17, 1-13 10th (last) Big 12.

2/12/18 at Oklahoma State (L 85-57).
2/17/18 at #19 Oklahoma (L 78-39).

The trip through Oklahoma for the Horned Frogs wasn't a very good one at all. They got absolutely blasted by both the Sooners and Cowboys. They may not win another game all season.

Michigan (Cillian Tribble) -- 12-14, 5-9 12th Big Ten.

2/14/18 at Iowa (L 89-69).
2/17/18 vs. Minnesota (L 78-65).

The Wolverines lose 2 more this week and their losing streak is now 4. They've yet to find the confidence they had since they beat Michigan State.

#12 Michigan State (Al Mighty) -- 22-4, 12-2 2nd Big Ten.

2/14/18 at #23 Illinois (W 87-42).
2/17/18 at Maryland (W 85-82).

2 more victories for the Spartans, who absolutely hammered 23rd ranked Illinois. They've got 4 regular season games left, and 3 of the 4 should be cake.

Northwestern (Ess Vee) -- 18-7, 7-7 T-6th Big Ten.

2/14/18 at Minnesota (W 75-61).
2/17/18 vs. Indiana (L 65-39).

Another split for the Wildcats, but it is not going to be easy in their last 4 games. 3 of their last 4 opponents are currently ranked and have a combined record of 65-15. The 4th team is pretty good too, at 16-10.

Hawaii (B.B. Gunn) -- 15-12, 8-5 2nd Big West.

2/13/18 at Cal State Fullerton (L 63-50).
2/17/18 vs. UC Irvine (W 78-74).

A split for the Warriors, who surprisingly still have a great chance to win the Big West. They are only a half game behind the leaders, and their next 3 games are all winnable, if they play Warrior basketball.

Charlotte (Timmy Tribble) -- 7-19, 4-10 11th Conference USA.

2/15/18 vs. Western Kentucky (W 75-58).
2/17/18 vs. UTEP (L 97-61).

A split for the 49ers, who broke a 6 game losing streak with the win over Western Kentucky, then got hammered against UTEP.

Rice (Charlie Shocker) -- 14-11, 8-6 6th Conference USA.

2/15/18 vs. North Texas (W 72-64).
2/17/18 vs. Old Dominion (W 80-71).

2 more wins for the Owls, who have now won 4 in a row. They've got a favorable schedule in their last 4 regular season games, so a top 3 finish in Conference USA is still very doable.

Monmouth (Thomas Carrano) -- 17-15, 11-9 T-5th MAAC.

2/16/18 vs. St. Peter's (L 84-62).
2/18/18 vs. Siena (L 85-66).

The inconsistency continues for the Hawks, as they waste a great chance this week by losing 2 road games. They are done with conference play and have a road non-conference game next week. As it stands now, they could be anywhere between the 4th and 6th seed in the MAAC Tournament.

Norfolk State (Payten Carrano) -- 11-15, 6-7 7th MEAC.

2/12/18 vs. Savannah State (W 91-86).
2/17/18 at North Carolina Central (L 73-59).

A split for the Spartans this week, who have 3 conference regular season games left. 2 of the opponents have a worse record than them, but that doesn't mean much at this point.

Colorado (Rob Nielsen) -- 13-12, 8-6 T-3rd Pac 12.

2/15/18 vs. Utah (L 65-57).
2/17/18 at Oregon (W 78-53).

A split for the Buffaloes this week, who break a 3 game winning streak with the win at Oregon. They've got 4 conference games left and could still finish 2nd in the conference if they can win all 4.

Stanford (Benito Sanchez) -- 18-8, 9-5 2nd Pac 12.

2/15/18 vs. Washington (W 69-63).
2/17/18 at Arizona (L 73-65).

A split for the Cardinal this week, as they win the home game and lose the road game. 4 games left and all of them are against middle of the pack teams.

#8 UCLA (Tim Shepard) -- 22-4, 12-2 1st Pac 12.

2/15/18 at Arizona State (L 68-66).
2/17/18 vs. USC (W 69-43).

A split for the Bruins, who would need a monumental collapse to lose the conference championship at this point. They are ahead by 3 games with 4 to go.

Washington State (DeShawn St. John) -- 15-11, 7-7 T-7th Pac 12.

2/15/18 vs. USC (W 80-68).
2/17/18 at Arizona State (L 65-54).

A split for the Cougars this week as they go on a road trip next week before returning home for their last 2 games.

Alabama (Roy Rogers) -- 15-11, 10-4 T-1st SEC.

2/14/18 at Georgia (W 54-53).
2/17/18 vs. LSU (W 68-43).

2 more wins for the Crimson Tide who are rolling right now, winners of 6 in a row. With 4 games to go, they control their own destiny, as they are in a 3 way tie for first with Kentucky and VCU.

Florida (Noah Oppenheimer) -- 18-8. 8-6 7th SEC.

2/14/18 at Missouri (W 78-53).
2/17/18 at Tennessee (L 70-60).

A split for the Gators, as the loss at Tennessee broke a 3 game winning streak. With only 2 games separating 1st and 7th place, they can still get back in the SEC title chase. Next week should be 2 wins to help them keep pace.

#6 Kentucky (Patrick Hutt) -- 21-5, 10-4 T-1st SEC.

2/14/18 at South Carolina (W 77-62).
2/17/18 vs. #16 VCU (L 85-70).

A split for the Wildcats, who had a chance to be in 1st place all by themselves, but couldn't get by VCU. They have a couple games next week that they should breeze by.

Troy (Brett Hawkins) -- 10-17, 7-11 8th Sun Belt.

2/15/18 at Arkansas Little Rock (L 68-35).
2/17/18 vs. Louisiana Lafayette (L 71-66).

2 losses for the Trojans, who see a brief 3 game winning streak come to an end. Next week is a big week, as it could be the difference between 4th or 5th in the conference, or even last in the conference.

Let's take a look at the national top 25 heading into next week:

Code:

Kansas has a nice 3 spot jump after a good week, while UCLA and Kentucky each drop 2 spots after losses. Michigan State stays put at 12, and Davidson and Florida are still receiving votes, but barely.

Now for the mid-major top 25:

Code:

Davidson loses 2 spots, while Tulsa is still receiving 3 votes. Wasn't the best of weeks for our mid-major representatives.

Now we head to the Overall Bubble Watch, where 1 of our teams is involved:

Code:
OVERALL BUBBLE WATCH Team Record RPI vs. 1-50 vs. 51-100 vs. 101-200 vs. 200+ SOS Projected -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arizona State 16-10 .570 (49) 3-3 4-4 7-3 2-0 41 In West Virginia 16-10 .592 (25) 3-7 3-1 6-2 4-0 13 In Georgetown 16-10 .585 (29) 1-7 9-3 2-0 4-0 15 In Arizona 16-10 .582 (32) 3-5 4-2 5-3 4-0 20 In Pepperdine 17-9 .557 (58) 0-4 4-1 6-4 7-0 120 In Purdue 16-10 .573 (45) 3-9 4-0 3-0 6-1 40 In Connecticut 16-10 .584 (31) 2-6 3-1 5-2 6-1 25 In Stanford 18-8 .550 (70) 1-6 4-0 10-2 3-0 146 In UAB 19-7 .551 (67) 1-2 4-2 5-1 9-2 219 Out BYU 17-11 .588 (27) 0-6 6-1 7-1 4-3 12 Out Georgia State 17-11 .562 (55) 0-6 1-1 6-4 10-0 72 Out Old Dominion 20-6 .543 (80) 1-3 0-1 10-0 9-2 291 Out Vanderbilt 17-9 .547 (72) 2-6 4-0 4-2 7-1 122 Out Lafayette 17-11 .550 (69) 0-3 1-2 6-6 10-0 107 Out Georgia 15-10 .571 (47) 2-7 3-0 6-3 4-0 32 Out

The key for Stanford is the 1-6 record against the RPI Top 50. If that record was even 1 or 2 games better, the Cardinal might be off the bubble. As it stands, they are in the Last Four In group, but their remaining schedule isn't the greatest.

As for the rest of our teams:

Lock: Davidson, Kansas, Michigan State, UCLA, Kentucky, Florida.
In: Tulsa.
