It seems that the pre-season predictions for my division were spot on. The South Side Sox won the division and I finished second, 11 games out.
The story of my season was a 6 week stretch in August and early September. At one point in August we rattled off 11 consecutive wins. We welcomed the White Sox to our stadium in early September, just 3 games back. They swept us and we fell apart after that series. The team put together a significantly better second half of the season than they did in the early months.
The LA Dodgers are huge favorites to win it all in this first season. A 734 winning percentage? 113 wins??? Impressive!
