Start of Season 2017/2018

2 players without a club and a record transfer before the start of the season.

Goalkeepers

Jace Hunter, Feyernoord, 2.7m valuation:
More of the same is likely for Jace this year, i.e. sitting on the bench. Rumours that he will be leaving continue to surface although no club has actually come forward as yet.

Games: 0

Al Mighty, Valenciennes, 475k valuation:
Similar to Jace, Al is also reportedly unsettled at Valenciennes and will be hoping a club comes by with a good offer.

Games: 0

Defenders

Robbie Collins, QPR, 750k valuation:
Robbie is a fan favourite, named as the QPR supporter's player of the year last season. He is supposed to be a first team regular this year.

Games: 0

Flere Imsaho, Monaco, 14.25m valuation:
Monaco and PSG both came in with big bids to win the services of Flere and he eventually chose to play for Monaco. The transfer fee was 21 million pounds and is a Feyernoord record. This is going to be an exciting new adventure for Flere as he joins the current French champions.

Games: 0

Rohan Edwards, Galatasaray, 2.6m valuation:
Rohan is back in Turkey and in the Galatasaray reserves. His contract is up at the end of the season and he must be wondering whether he should re-sign, considering the lack of opportunities he has been given.

Games: 0

David Ginsberg, Rennais, 4.2m valuation:
David is now named as a first team member of the squad and is hopeful for a breakout year.

Games: 0

Midfielders

Jawouk Bafou, Man Utd, 900k valuation:
Jawouk has been loaned out to Rostock in the German Second Division where he is supposed to be a key player. Unfortunately, he broke his cheekbone during pre-season training.

Games (for Rostock): 0

Jake Chippin, Newcastle, 2.6m valuation:
Jake has been informed that he will be used in a squad rotation basis. However, it's unclear how that will change since he missed out on the entire pre-season with a broken ankle.

Games: 0

Deacon Palmieri, Lorient, 3.8m valuation:
Deacon looks like he might be kept around at Lorient this season as there are no indications he is going out on loan. To be used in a squad rotation basis.

Games: 0

Shane Christopher, free:
Shane and Dinamo could not agree on a new contract and he has been released from the club. He will be looking to sign on with someone that can further his career.

Games: 0

Benton Gale, Man Utd, 6.5m valuation:
Benton is still listed as a backup to the first team and is also available to go out on loan. He has had a very odd career so far, being highly rated internally yet not ever really getting the chance to play.

Games: 0

Michael Samuelle, Leverkusen, 1.4m valuation:
Michael is in the Leverkusen reserves and it looks like things might pass him by. He was supposed to go out on loan to Nurnberg but the deal fell through at the last minute.

Games: 0

Eddie Chilton, Fulham, 2.7m valuation:
Still slated as a first team player, Eddie will hope he gets more playing time this season.

Games: 0

Dex Morgan, Feyernoord, 2.5m valuation:
Dex is back at Feyernoord and appears to be happy again. Hopefully he will get some games as he is used in a squad rotation basis.

Games: 0

Patrick Hutt, free:
As expected, Patrick was released by Man City, this part of his career cut short by injuries. It's really unclear what chances he will get but fingers crossed for him.

Games: 0

Kuji Chagulia, Paris St Germain, 4.2m valuation:
In some surprising news, Kuji has been placed on the transfer list by PSG for 1.2 million pounds. He has never had a chance to prove himself after his move from OB and this will be a new hurdle to overcome.

Games: 0

Strikers

Rob Nielsen, Marseille, 16.25m valuation:
Rob is considered a key player for Marseille and they will be looking to him to try and push Monaco this season. There has been some media comments that he isn't good enough yet but time will tell.

Games: 0

Brian Bennett, Nice, 775k valuation:
Brian is back to being a key player for the Nice team and has signed a new contract that will bring him to 2019.

Games: 0

Roger Berisha, Evian, 4.3m valuation:
Roger is considered a first team regular for Evian now and is looking forward to the new season.
