End of Season 2017/2018

Goalkeepers

Jace Hunter, Feyernoord, 3.1m valuation:
A good season for Jace as he finally won the starting position midway through the season and was integral in Feyernoord winning the Eredivise, breaking Ajax's stranglehold.

Games: 25 game, 26 conceded, 8 clean sheets, 6.57 rating

Al Mighty, Valenciennes, 35.5k valuation:
Well Al's time with Valenciennes is coming to an end. He hasn't been able to agree on a new contract with the club and will be a free agent soon. He did play some games for the club and performed well when called upon.

Games: 15 games (2 as sub), 13 conceded, 6 clean sheets, 1 MOM, 6.96 rating

Defenders

Robbie Collins, QPR, 2.1m valuation:
Named as the vice-captain for the QPR team, Robbie played a lot for the Rs this past year (54 games in all). Highly popular with the fans, they may be distressed because there are rumours he may be leaving. Is now able to play at leftback as well.

Games: 54 games, 1 goal, 2 assists, 6.72 rating

Flere Imsaho, Monaco, 20m valuation:
Flere found himself not being the regular starter in Monaco this year although he did feature in quite a few games. He achieved a lot in his first season though, winning the league title and the league cup with Monaco.

Games: 35 games (18 as sub), 1 assist, 1 MOM, 7.01 rating

Rohan Edwards, Twente, ??m valuation:
Rohan's nightmare in Turkey finally comes to an end as he refused to sign a new contract and signed a pre-contract with Twente in Holland. He was never given sufficient opportunity in Turkey and he will be looking forward to a new chapter in his life.

Games: 6 games (3 as sub), 6.52 rating

David Ginsberg, Rennais, 3.7m valuation:
David suffered a double hernia and a broken collarbone, each injury putting him out for 7 weeks. This meant he played fewer games than expected but he's now regarded as a key player in the Rennais squad. There is some tension though as Rennais repeatedly asked him to re-do his contract at a lower wage but David refused.

Games: 25 games (3 as sub), 2 assists, 1 MOM, 7 yellows, 6.66 rating

Midfielders

Jawouk Bafou, Man Utd, 925k valuation:
Jawouk had his longest run of games this season, managing 27 first team games (although quite a few were as a substitute). Hopefully this begins to turn things around for his career.

Games (for Rostock): 27 games (19 as sub), 1 assist, 6.51 rating

Jake Chippin, Newcastle, 115k valuation:
How quickly things change as Jake was transfer listed and he's definitely on his way out of Newcastle. He's very disappointed and will want to find a new club as soon as he can.

Games: 2 games, 6.85 rating

Deacon Palmieri, Lorient, 2.6m valuation:
Deacon featured in the Lorient first team this season but is now looking for a way out after Lorient was relegated in 20th position. The club has slapped a 26.5 million pound price on his head, craziness!

Games: 19 games (3 as sub), 2 assists, 6.52 rating

Shane Christopher, free:
Shane spent the season out of football as he couldn't find a taker for his services. The good thing is that apparently Rostov, a Russian club, is considering offering him a contract.

Games: 0

Benton Gale, Man Utd, 8.75m valuation:
The time has come for Benton to say goodbye to Old Trafford as he was placed on the transfer list. This always seemed like it was about to happen as he could never break into the first team. His asking price is 6.5 million.

Games: 2 games, 6.40 rating

Michael Samuelle, Leverkusen, 1.6m valuation:
Michael spent the season in the lower tiers of German football again (38 games, 2 goals, 7 assists, 1 MOM, 16 yellow cards, 1 red, 6.63 rating). Clearly frustrated as evidenced by the 16 yellow cards.

Games: 0

Eddie Chilton, Fulham, 3.1m valuation:
Eddie is very unhappy at Fulham because, for yet another season, he has had very limited playtime. Rumour mill is that he will put in a transfer request soon.

Games: 11 games (4 as sub), 1 goal, 1 assist, 6.83 rating

Dex Morgan, Feyernoord, 2.5m valuation:
Used in a squad rotation basis, Dex is happy again at Feyernoord but he must be frustrated that he missed out on a league medal because he only made 9 appearances in the Eredivise (need 10 appearances to get a medal). Still, he is apparently held in high regard by management.

Games: 14 games (4 as sub), 2 assists, 6.55 rating

Patrick Hutt, Xolos Tijuana:
The good thing is that Patrick managed to get signed by a club, Xolos Tijuana, who play in the Mexican first division, where he is regarded as a key player.

Games: 10 games, 2 goals, 1 assist, 1 MOM, 6.87 rating

Kuji Chagulia, free
Kuji has since been released by PSV and is now looking for a new club. Hopefully soon.

Games: 0

Strikers

Rob Nielsen, Marseille, 17m valuation:
A decent season with Marseille as he managed to score 14 goals in all competitions. Also has 8 goals in 39 caps for the US.

Games: 45 games (14 as sub), 14 goals, 3 assists, 2 MOM, 6.74 rating

Brian Bennett, Nice, 650k valuation:
Brian had a disappointing season with Nice as he failed to live up to expectations and has been pushed back down in status to be a rotation player.

Games: 22 games (16 as sub), 3 goals, 6.60 rating

Roger Berisha, Evian, 4.6m valuation:
Roger didn't get as many chances as he would have liked although the club still looks at him as a first team regular.

Games: 16 games (12 as sub), 3 goals, 1 assist, 6.75 rating
