We're 17-3, #19 in the nation, and have a 2 game lead on the rest of the conference. Unless we start having serious problems I plan on simming out a good bit here, likely our next 8 games. id ont' expect to go undefeated.

First, a Buffalo team that is winless in MAC play:

Jan 23, 2018

at Ohio 91
Buffalo 50

well then. Santiago 40. He almost outscored Buffalo by himself. Bright 15.

Jan 27, 2018

Ohio 79
at Toledo 57

This was one I feared losing, on the road, they were 5-2 in conference play. Bright 18, Santiago 16, Jimenez 11.

We remain 19th in the polls.

I notice a pretty fucked up bug, i'd noticed it during the Ball State game but just doublechecked. Santiago had a day to day injury for 16 more days of a broken finger going into the Ball State game. He hurt himself in the 1st half and was diagnosed with a sore knee that would limit him for 2 days. That sore knee overwrote/erased the broken finger. After 2 days, no more injury.

Road game against an 8-12 W. michigan team:

Jan 31, 2018

Ohio 84
at W. Michigan 64

Santiago 25, Grundy 14, Withers 11, Bright 10. This is our 20th win.

Next we're at home vs an Akron team that is 3-4 in the league, 77 OVR so not entirely terrible. Heh, yeah there it is.

Feb 3, 2018

Akron 82
at Ohio 71

Santiago 17, fouls out near the end. Grundy 11, Bight and Jimenez 7.

backup PF Zachary Hogan goes down for 16 days with a separated shoulder. Bright and McCully both have nagging injuries but are playing through them.

The loss drops us all the way out of the rankings, still 20-4. Our RPI drops from #17 to #35.

10 games into the season we are 9-1 in conference play. We've got a 2 game lead on the field still.
