As of today I think most people would agree that Brazil and Spain are the only major clubs left to really pull off an upset. We have to do our work with Italy of course, and I;m rooting hard core for South Korea and my Yoons, but I think we all know that it’s either Brazil or the winner of the Italy-Spain match that is likely to win this thing.
We’ve had a very easy path. Sweden? #26. New Zealand? #106. Australia? #21. Ecuador? #23. So now that we’re past the crap, we have Italy. Now our expecations heading in were to make the Semis. That’s what they think we should do, and we have been on cruise control. We won our friendlies, and we’ve won every game thus far, all by multiple goals, and we are going to be favorites vs Italy as well.
