Group 26

Week 10

Pitt- 60, Charleston- 53
Tennessee St.- 60, Hofstra- 54
Loyola (IL)- 72, NJIT- 68

Final Group 26 Standings:

#1- Pitt 9-1 (+123)
#2- Charleston 6-4 (-13)
#3- NJIT 5-5 (-37)
#4- Tennessee St. 4-6 (-6)
#5- Hofstra 3-7 (-21)
#6- Loyola (IL) 3-7 (-46)

So Pitt wins the group convincingly and should get a top 25-35 seed. Charleston has a negative point differential and a 6-4 record. That will add up to a very low seed, most likely a sub 100 seed, if not close. NJIT takes third, but the point differential with a 5-5 record is not nearly enough to stay in the wildcard hunt. While Georgia Tech celebrates staying in the wildcard chase for at least one more group, NJIT is packing their bags and heading home. Here are the wildcard standings through group 26:

N.C. Central 7-3 (+63)
Jacksonville St. 7-3 (+55)
E. Michigan 7-3 (+50)
