3rd down efficiency:
Minnesota 10-18
UCLA: 4-13

UCLA made up 10 more yards per punt than we did - which came into play with our long field goal misses.

QB John Rattay wasn't the problem, but he had a chance to win this game for us instead of leave it in the hands of an idiot kicker. 15-25 for 180 yards, 2 TDs and 1 INT.

HB Nicolas Morris did not reinvent the position in his first game. 24 carries for 89 yards. Gannon Dawson only got 3 carries for 4 yards. Perhaps we can strike a better balance and see both guys thrive?

OG John Perryman allowed four sacks and was called for a holding penalty. He just lost his starting job.

Not much to say about our kicker. He needs to hit one of those two kicks. Period. End of story.

OLB Hank Swilling had 6 tackles, 5 assists, 1 sack, 1 hurry, and 2 forced fumbles.
