I've had a few friends who tell me it doesn't matter, but
when I can, I prefer to play a left footed striker as the left striker, and a right footed striker as my right striker. Personally, I think it does matter. Fabrice Begeorgi was a left footed striker who thrived on the left. However, if I have 4 strikers and two of them are clearly much better than the others, I will play them both regardless of which foot they use. I also try to make sure my left winger is left footed (or both) and my right winger is right footed.
