The Continental League has made it official --
Ramón Hernández is the winner of the Batter of the Month trophy.
In August, the
Baltimore left fielder starred with a .400 batting average, 8 home runs and 22 RBIs.
Hernández also had 9 walks, posted a .455 on-base percentage and scored 21 times.

Manuel Rodríguez swung a sweet bat and put together a solid month to win the Republic League Batter of the Month.
The
Toronto first baseman batted .406 with 6 home runs, 17 RBIs and 15 runs scored.
Rodríguez is presently hitting at a .324 pace with 27 home runs, 83 RBIs and has scored 84 times.
