Main Card

Cole Miller vs Jamie Varner

Round 1: Miller and Varner feel one another out. Each man focuses on their striking. Miller lands a couple of nice jabs and unofficially takes the first round.

Round 2: Miller attempts to take down Varner twice this round but Varner is able to stuff both attempts. Varner takes control of the striking this round and unofficially wins the round to tie it up.

Round 3: Both men are visibly gassed halfway through the round. Miller tries for two more take downs and is stuffed each time. Miller is able to land some shots on Varner however to win the round.

Cole Miller d. Jamie Varner (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being average.

Amir Sadollah vs Matt Sera

Round 1: Serra comes out throwing bombs. Each men has a flurry of activity but Sadollah gets reckless and Serra drops him with a right. Sadollah is able to quickly pull guard before Serra can do anymore damage. The round ends with a scramble. Good stuff. Serra takes round 1.

Round 2: Serra starts hot and floors Sadollah yet again. Sadollah is able to cover up and the fight continues. Later on in the round Serra counters with another right and again Sadollah is down but he is able to get up. The round ends but Serra dominates. May have been a 10-8 round.

Round 3: Amazingly Sadollah comes in hot to start the round. He pulls off two successful take downs but can't maintain any position. He manages to pull off the round but it is going to be too little, too late.

Matt Serra d. Amir Sadollah (Unanimous Decision). The fight was rated as being decent.

Josh Grispi vs Michihiro Omigawa

Round 1: Both guys are letting big shots fly, but it is a well placed jab by Omigawa that rocks Grispi. Grispi is able to recover and avoid Omigawa's killshot that followed. Both guys unload to end the round, but Omigawa should take it.

Round 2: A slow start to the round turns into a lot of fun as Grispi knockdowns Omigawa with an overhand right. He throws some big shots from mount but Omigawa is able to collect himself and move to half guard. Omigawa gets into a position to attempt a guillotine on three different occasions but Grispi won't be caught. The round ends with both men being stood up. Grispi looks to have tied it at 1-1.

Round 3: Grispi's corner tells him to keep it standing which proves to be the wrong advice. The round starts with both men trading blows, but Omigawa's head movement allows him slip past a jab and counter with a vicious right cross that knocks Grispi out cold!

Machichiro Omigawa d. Josh Grispi at 1:12 of the 3rd round (KO - Punch). The fight was rated as being great.

Main Event: Jon Madsen vs Frank Mir

Round 1: Mir shows the superior wrestling in Round 1 as he kept Madsen against the cage for much of the round before taking him down. Madsen was able to avoid several subs from Mir but didn't do much of anything else. Mir easily takes the round.

Round 2: Mir is tired, but he gets to work again, taking Madsen down with a single leg. He spends a minute gaining some energy back before gaining better position. Mir's ground game is just too much for Madsen, and before Madsen knows it, Mir has a kneebar locked in and Madsen is forced to tap!

Frank Mir d. Jon Madsen at 3:32 of the 2nd round (Submission - Kneebar). The fight was rated as being average.
