UFC 127 Main Card Revealed

In the Main Event, the anticipated Welterweight Title fight between George St. Pierre (21-2) and Jake Shields (26-4-1). For Shields it'll be the biggest fight of his career. For GSP, Shields may be the last person at 170 who has a legitimate chance of dethroning GSP.

The Co-Main Event is a lightweight battle that pits Clay "The Carpenter" Guida (27-11) against Gray "The Bully" Maynard (10-0). For Maynard, a win can legitimize his title shot credentials, while for Guilda it is an opportunity to get back in the title hunt.

In the heavyweight division, it's the new guard vs the old, as Brendan "The Hybrid" Schuab (7-1) takes on Mirko Cro Cop (27-8-2). Cro Cop is looking to rebound after his loss to Frank Mir, while Schuab is looking for the biggest win of his short UFC career.

Two UFC vets in the light heavyweight division collide as Brandon "The Truth" Vera (11-5) takes on Tito Ortiz (15-8-1). This may be Tito's last chance to show he deserves to stay in the UFC so expect him to come out ready for war.

The opener should be an exciting fight as the feathweights as former WEC champion Mike Brown (24-6) takes on Diego "The Gun" Nunes (15-1). The winner is all but certain to have a title shot in their future.
