When last season started I looked to see in general how many 80+ rated players there were in the league. I forgot to do that before the season started but want to before we get too far in.
80-84: 33 (was 24 last year)
85-89: 14(was 15)
90-94: 17(was 11)
95+: 4 (Paul/Wade/Kobe/Lebron)
The number of players rated between 90-95 has gone up quite a bit, without the number of guys in the high 80s dropping much. Interesting trend, we'll continue to montior, just out of curiosity as far as league development goes.
Arenas, Price, Rose, Boozer, Rondo, Joe Johnson, Deron Williams, Gasol, Devin Harris, Carmelo, Granger, Bosh, Parker, Durant, Howard, Al Jefferson, Roy.
