UFC 139 Lineup
- Fabricio Werdum (15-4-1) left UFC after a loss to Junior dos Santos, but after reeling off 4 wins in Strikeforce, including a shocking upset of Fedor, Werdum is back in the UFC and headlining UFC 139 when he takes on fellow submission specialist Frank Mir (16-5). The winner of this fight is in prime position for a title fight vs Brock Lesnar.
- In the Co-Main Event, the UFC Bantamweight Title will be on the line when champion Brian Bowles (10-1) puts his belt on the line against Demetrious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson (8-1). With each guy possessing KO power anything can happen in this fight.
- It should be a ton of fun in the Welterweight division as "The Natural Born Killer" Carlos Condit (27-6) takes on Mike "Quick" Swick
(15-4).
- It's a battle of Ultimate Fighter winners as TUF 10 winner Roy "Big Country" Nelson (18-6) faces TUF 13 winner Calvin "The Can Opener" Oswald (11-3). Oswald won the TUF 13 crown without facing any adversity on the ground, but against Big Country he will face his stiffest challenge yet.
- In our opener it's a battle of rising Light Heavyweights, as Ricardo Romero (12-1) takes on Igor Pokrajac (24-8). Pokrajac's last two fights earned him Submission of the Night honors but against Romero he will need to have a similar performance to keep his win streak alive.
