Main Card

Light Heavyweight Division
Thiago Silva (15-3) vs Ryan "Darth" Bader (13-1)

Round 1: It's a slow first round as Silva is trying to get Bader's back but Bader isn't allowing it. Bader is out striking Silva as if it was some sort of bizarro world. It's too close to call.

Round 2: Bader shoots for a takedown to start the round and Silva times it with a beautiful right cross and Bader is out cold!

Thiago Silva d. Ryan Bader at 0:30 of the 2nd round (KO - Right Cross) [Poor]

Lightweight Division
Evan Dunham (11-1) vs George Sotiropoulos (15-3)

Round 1: Dunham puts Sotiropolos against the fence but he can't keep him there and after a foot stomp George reverses Dunham against the cage. He easily takes Dunham down and then gets into side control where he applies an armbar and this fight is all over!

George Sotiropolos d. Evan Dunham at 2:37 of the 1st round (Submission - Armbar) [Great]

Heavyweight Division
Junior dos Santos (12-4) vs Mirko Cro Cop (28-8-2)

Round 1: Cro Cop comes out with a simple strategy: take out JDS's legs and that's exactly what he does as he lands countless big shots to the legs. JDS is in tons of pain and is not landing any punches that have zip to them. Cro Cop easily takes the first round.

Round 2: JDS is now leery of low kicks and it leaves him wide open to be kicked into next year! Cro Cop with a vicious right kick and it is all over!

Mirko Cro Cop d. Junior dos Santos at 0:25 of the 2nd round (KO - Right Head Kick) [Good]

Co-Main Event/Lightweight Division
Forrest Griffin (17-7) vs Mauricio "Shogun" Rua (20-5)

Round 1: The highlight of the round is a vintage Pride soccer kick as Forrest was stuck in a sprawl and took a brutal kick to the body. He manages to get up but was knocked down later in the round after a vicious right hand. Shogun easily takes the first round.

Round 2: Griffin takes the second round as he lands more strikes and gets a nice takedown. He spent a lot of the round diry boxing Shogun and it is clearly taking a toll.

Round 3: It's a weird ending to the fight as Shogun gets Forrest against the fence and throws vicious elbows. A big cut opens on Griffin but the fight is allowed to continue. Then with under 10 seconds left the doctor has the ref stop the fight and award a TKO victory to Shogun.

Shogun Rua d. Forrest Griffin at 4:57 of the 3rd round (TKO - Cut) [Decent]

Main Event/UFC Lightweight Title Fight
Frankie "The Answer" Edgar (15-1) vs Gray "The Bully" Maynard (12-0)

Round 1: It's a slow first round. Maynard secures a quick takedown and controls much of the round. Edgar scrambles near the end of the round and gets a few solid shots but it should be Maynards.

Round 2: Edgar gets the takedown this time and with two separate attempts almost ends the fight. First an armbar, then a kimura. Maynard is able to get out each time but the holds are taking a toll.

Round 3: Edgar takes the third when he almost gets Maynard to pass out to a Standing Guillotine but Maynard is able to break out of it. Still he is starting to gass and Edgar looks fresh.

Round 4: Finally Edgar is able to do what he wanted all fight. He takes Maynard down and is able to get Maynard's back. He puts the hooks in and locks in a deep Rear Naked Choke and Maynard has to tap!

Frankie Edgar d. Gray Maynard at 3:20 of the 4th round (Submission - Rear Naked Choke) to retain the UFC Lightweight Title [Decent]
