UFC 142 Lineup
- In the Main Event it is a fight that people have been asking for, and now they will get their wish. The unstoppable Jose Aldo (21-1) will put his UFC Featherweight Title on the line against "The Korean Zombie" Chan Sung Jung (12-3). Aldo has been laying to waste the UFC Featherweight Division, but Jung can take a punch and can dish it out. Expect a war when these two face off.
- In the Co-Main Event "The Prodigy" B.J Penn (17-8-1) looks for another big win at Welterweight. He knocked off GSP, and now he will face Jake Shields (26-5-1). Both men are worth competitors but for Penn, a win can get him another step closer to contention in the WW division.
- It's a Heavyweight battle as Antonio "Minotauro" Rodrigo Nogueira (33-7-1) takes on "Big" Ben Rothwell (33-8). Rothwell is coming off of an impressive win over Shane Carwin, but now he faces the BJJ legend. Will Rothwell be able to get past the great ground game of Nog, or will Nog show why he is a future UFC Hall of Hamer and knock off Rothwell?
- It's a middle weight battle between two Brazilians as Maiquel "Big Rig" Falcao (28-3) takes on a returning Thales Leites (21-5). Falcao has been very good as of late but he faces a stiff challenge in Leites.
- In the opener it is a lightweight battle between Chris "The Polish Hammer" Horodecki (18-2)and Tie Quan Zhang (13-0). Zhang is making a name for himself in the lightweight division but Horodecki plans to end the Mongolian fighters win streak.
