Miyazaki Gets CL Rookie of Month Honors

Akihiko Miyazaki is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest Continental League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers.

Over the past month the 25-year-old right fielder for
Tokyo hit .352 with 32 hits, 3 home runs and 14 RBI. He also logged 7 walks and compiled a .398 on-base percentage.
To date,
Behan has collected 61 hits for a .324 average. He has posted 6 home runs, scored 31 runs and driven in 30 runs.
