On the heels of a very productive August,
Kenny Alexander received Continental League Batter of the Month recognition today.
The battle-tested left fielder hit .371 for the
Noblesville Millers and racked up 8 home runs, 19 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
This year
Alexander has socked 168 hits in 525 at-bats for a .320 average with 31 home runs. He is getting on base at a .400 pace and his totals also include 88 RBIs and 99 runs scored.
Canales Top Hitter in RL in August

César Canales of the
Colorado Rancheros spoke softly and carried a big stick in August and was justifiably proclaimed the Republic League Batter of the Month.
The Rancheros left fielder rapped out a .318 batting average with 35 hits in 110 at-bats, drove in 26, scored 20 runs and chalked up a .385 on-base percentage.
So far this season
Canales is hitting .303 with 16 home runs.
