The lesson of Manchester City: If you ever are fortunate enough to have an Enrique, never sell him, no matter how much of a record transfer fee is thrown at you.

Wow - yeah, you're right about those two draws! Way to spot that! That said, one win out of those two would have made things just a bit less stressful in that last game! Still, a great win and in a way, I'm glad we showed we could do it when everything was on the line like that.
And you're definitely right about Enrique. His stats are hilarious this year - he scored 44 goals in 52 overall matches for Barcelona this year, which are obviously outstanding numbers. But it's his Champions League numbers that are absolutely ASTOUNDING - 26 goals and 5 assists in only 11 games - those are INSANE! He wasn't anywhere near as effective in the Spanish league, scoring only 18 goals in 36 matches and he scored NO GOALS in his 5 cup games. Wild stuff.
I still think City have a tremendous young striker in Jelle Hoegee but he's not Enrique. And the fact that City spent £73 million on midfielder Mario Brito makes it even worse - the guy is a good player but that's a ridiculous amount to spend on a wide midfielder.
Dumb moves and they suffered the consequences!
