José Sonora of
Tokyo.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Sonora. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Cyclones star told reporters.
Sonora excelled with an impressive 17-7 record in 32 starts. In 243.1 innings he yielded 208 hits and 63 walks, while striking out 183 and compiling a fine 2.59 ERA.

With a record of 22-6,
Sánchez was certainly a worthy winner. He made 32 starts and posted 232.1 innings, 150 strikeouts and a 2.91 ERA.
