2016 Season Start

It's senior year time. Will our players impress the NFL scouts or fade into oblivion?

Kirk George, 5'11" 199 lbs QB - Minnesota

Our very good scout has Kirk pegged at 51/55, but he hasn't played all that well the past two seasons, though he hasn't had much to work with. He should start again this year and if he can shake his accuracy bug, maybe can impress a few scouts with his physical tools.

Deon Meadows, 5'10" 205 lbs RB - Louisiana-Monroe

Our scout in Deon's area is still poor, but it's hard to argue with an 80/80 scouting report. Meadows has already attracted some NFL attention despite playing for a relatively obscure school, and his speed and consistency seem like a good fit for an NFL prospect. He'll need a good year this year to seal the deal though.

Winston Wampus, 6'1" 208 lbs WR - Rice

Winston has impressed the last two seasons, and scouts are definitely taking a look at him. He has good hands and a good downfield move. Our good scout rates him 53/53 this year, and he's hoping to have his best season yet.

Marc Banks, 6'1" 262 lbs ILB - LSU

Marc has the size for his position, but does he have the talent? Our scout in his area is terrific, but still only rates him at 9/50. Is he a late bloomer or a will he wither in the bud? At least he won't have Richard Sutton looming over him this year. We'll see whether he starts or not.

Artie Foreman, 6'0" 211 lbs CB - Georgia

Our decent scout puts Artie at 53/80, he definitely has an upside that hasn't developed in college, and scouts are watching him as a draft prospect. Georgia has several talented corners this year but Artie should still start.

2016 Mid-season report

USC - Clemson - Texas - North Texas - Northern Illinois - Stanford - Air Force - Notre Dame - Auburn - Central Florida top 10.

George Kirk George seems to have put it together this year so far, in 6 games he's 69-120 for 898 yards, with 5 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He doesn't show impressive athletic ability but he can adequately support a conservative offense. Minnesota is 2-4 on the season, but are going into their brutal conference schedule.

Meadows Louisiana-Monroe is 4-1 so far this year and a big part is Deon Meadows, who's rushed 88 times for 411 yards and 3 touchdowns. He's added 15 catches for 128 more yards, too.

Wampus Winston Wampus is ahead of last year's midseason, with 26 catches for 421 yards and a touchdown. Rice is 2-3, including a nice win over Fresno State.

Banks Marc Banks has played in 6 games and started 4, and has looked his best this year, recording 26 tackles and 4 assists. His tackles total has already almost exceeded his best year so far! LSU is 2-4, including 2 very close losses, and there is a feeling of a bit more hop for the team this year.

Foreman Artie Foreman has started all 5 games and has recorded 14 tackles and 8 assists, as well as an interception. Georgia is 2-3 with both of their wins over very weak teams.
