Rookie sneak peeks:

2nd rounder DE Gaines looks weaker than I had hoped, like maybe a DE 4 in time. Very disappointing - just glad we didn't reeeeeeeach in round one for him.

3rd rounder WR Bridges looks like he can be useful, as a WR4-5 type, with good GD and courage. Not high enough RR to be a force, but maybe he'll someday be a 40-target sort of guy. Not really worth a 3rd round pick, I guess, though.

4th rounder LB Thill looks more like it - one of those no-void guys, not great anywhere but seems likely to round into being capable of playing a bit. That's just fine for round four, but his 98/50 chem combo probably limits his long term value for us.

My scouts tagged WB Evan Justin as VU, so I threw a 6th round pick at him. Seems fine. If he somehow bumps up +10 in preseason, then we'll talk - for now, he looks like a high personality, high accuracy guy who can run around a bit - not awful.

And, 7th rounder DB Blackburn is one of those decent DBs who really don't merit any starts, but could be fine as the last guy active... but no special teams, no serious skills, what value does this guy bring to us absent a shocking move?

Weak draft, best thing I did was trade out, I just need the discipline to do more of that with a team like this.
