We have a small garden we made in our yard. It's a 4 x 6 area enclosed by some boards. We did cauliflower, potatoes, bell peppers, and tomatoes. I don't know what happened to the potatoes. However, the tomatoes did well for a while we got one good bunch of tomatoes. Then the monarch caterpillars came. They destroyed both of the cauliflower plants and almost killed both of the tomato plants.

As of right now, we have a bell pepper plant that looks dead, another one that looks similar but has some small peppers on it. Our tomato plants are doing well and just started sprouting some more tomatoes. I imagine that will be our last bunch of the year.

Good luck in your adventure. I'll be watching.
