José Gonzáles will have to have a new nickname. He earned it after winning the 2208 Continental League Gabriel Prado Award.
Gonzáles made 32 starts this year, winning 20 and losing 5. He threw 218.2 innings, fanned 167, allowed 178 hits and 32 walks, while holding opposing teams to a .221 average as he logged an impressive 2.22 ERA.

Tomohiko Murakami of the
Ann Arbor Winged Lingerines as the #1 man on the mound for the 2208 campaign.
This year's Gabriel Prado Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 18-6 record, holding opposing hitters to a .245 batting average and posting a 2.94 ERA. The 34-year-old hurler tossed 208.1 innings, gave up 194 hits, fanned 145 and issued 63 walks.
