As far as the NIT, Texas A&M bat Pitt in the NIT Final 75-72. Hopefully, I can appear in the more relevant Final 4 in the near future.

The NCAA Final 4 is shaping up to be:

#2 Kansas who beat #1 Louisville 88-60 to get into the Final 4.

They will play #1 Tennessee who cruised through every opponent. Tennessee played #7 Maryland and beat them 108-66 in the Elite 8.

In the other bracket, #3 Indiana played #5 Duke (who had just beat #1 Michigan State) and Indiana won 88-74 to advance to the Final 4.

#1 UNLV proved they aren't a paper dragon by crushing every opponent They beat #7 Georgia Tech 100-82 in their Elite 8 game.

In the Final 4:

Kansas beat Tennessee 109-72 thanks to 39 points and 8 assists from JR PG Sergio Klatsky. Sophomore PF Herb Temple pitched in 24 points and 12 boards.

#3 Indiana beat #1 UNLV 102-60 thanks to double digit scoring from all 5 starters and their top 3 bench players. No one had more than 16 but 3 players had at least 5 assists.

Indiana wins the National Championship 75-60. SR SF Phillip Jacobs was the main offensive threat this game. He finished with 16 points, 9 boards, 1 assist, and 1 steal. They end the year with a 34-6 record.

SR PF Will Carrington of WV was the National Player of the Year. He averaged 26.5 ppg and 6 rpg.

SR PF Rubeen Forchion of Pepperdine was the Mid Major Player of the Year. He averaged 23.4 ppg and 6.5 rpg.

Indiana's coach won coach of the year.

SR C Lavoy Allen of Temple won defensive player of the year. He averaged 19.5 ppg, 10.1 rpg, and 3 bpg.

Will Carrington won Big Man of the Year.

PG Lodrick Lindeman of Arizona won Freshman of the Year. He averaged 10 ppg, 4 apg, and 2 spg.

Corey Stokes of Iona from our conference made the National First Team All American Team at SF! He averaged 22.3 ppg, 6.8 rpg, and 2.7 apg. My goal is to have Andres make that team next year..

The rest of the team:

PG Romeo Stephens, MD 19.1 ppg, 4.2 apg
SG Lamar Momplaisir, UVA 20.7 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 3.0 apg.
PF Will Carrington, WVU
C Kelly Mascoll, LSU 23.2 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 1.2 apg, 1.8 bpg.

I was named the Conference Coach of the Year for the Metro Atlantic.

Hodari Chatman was named to the Metro Atlantic First Team for 11.5 ppg, 3.5 rpg, and 2.8 apg.

Solomon made 2nd team.

Andres and Santos were snubbed as Stokes was 1st team (and the conference player of the year - good thing he is a senior) and Guasco (also a senior) was 2nd team at SF.

We lose 3 players this year to graduation:

Solomon Chatman - Our starting PG and a key contributor. Hopefully, Everett is as good as advertised. He should start from day 1.

C Jeremee Belser - Hurts as he was our only size off the bench. We now have no choice but to play small ball.

SG Steve Brady - Became a 3 point contributor late in the year, but too much of a liability to play more than a few minutes.
