I can't really vent this anywhere else safely, so you're stuck with it:
Being adopted led to me "inheriting" an awful lot of relatives that are dumb as @#$^#% fenceposts.
Under the current stress load, that makes social media like walking through a minefield ... especially given that I'm regularly in the mood to just throw rocks at any mines I see.
