Hawaii (B.B. Gunn) -- Hawaii came back from a halftime deficit by holding Rice to just 34.6% shooting to pull one out.

ECU (Al Hutt) @
Kentucky (Patrick Hutt) -- This battle of the siblings went to Patrick, although ECU had it close through about the first 30 minutes before Kentucky pulled away.

#9 UCLA (Tim Shepard) @
Alabama (Roy Rogers) -- The Bruins had a 23 point halftime lead in this one, and Alabama tried to fight back, but the deficit was just too much.

The short 3 game winning streak for the Horned Frogs ends in a big way, but at least they are still over .500.

A couple big wins for the Cardinal to hopefully get them back on track.
