So, regular season in the books. Baltimore is once again an 11-5 division winner, and slotted as the 3rd seed. Major notes from below:
-We remain a top tier rushing team, with an efficient passing attack behind it (Rushing 2nd total/2nd ypc, Passing 18/5)
-QB Upshaw gives us his best season yet - 3379 yards, 7.28 ypa, 30/14, 92.6 rating
-RB Guerrieri is solid again - 2,106 on 5.48 ypc, but rookie Moschetti is disappointing with 114-482 and 4 fumbles
-Pass rush is back in the pack at 20.3 PR% (18th) - not good enough for my defense to work properly...nobody posts double digit sacks
-We are tough against the pass regardless, allowing only 5.67 ypa (best in the league)
-So we are a boa constrictor type of team - get a lead, grind it out, and try not to lose. If Upshaw were an 8-Int guy instead of a 14-int guy, we might be in a good groove. As it stands, we're a pretty good team a few clicks away (or a lucky winning streak) from actually winning this thing.
