Today is the forty year anniversary of Woody Hayes punching the Clemson player. I say the Clemson player because I only learned Charlie Bauman's name today as I began a bit of a deep dive reading some sports columns from the days after this incident. My two takeaways

1. I think this may be at the top of my list of sports events I wished happened in the Twitter age.

2. Some of the "both sides" arguments on this incident are amazing.
