MC: Coach Breeze is here...

Paul Pride: Were you surprised by how well your guys played last night?

Benton: I don't know if surprised is the word. I was certainly pleased.

Stan Hack: Coach, yesterday, you mentioned you would probably use Seaver in this start if it got to a game 3, because you would need Mighty to give you a lefty out of the pen. You haven't used Mighty yet and it's the last game. You still planning to start Seaver?

Benton: No, I will start Mighty. I've already informed Barnie of the change.

David Duntz: You could get critisized if he doesn't perform, because he's on your team and Seaver is 8 and 1 on the season.

Benton: I know that, but I like our chances better is we throw a lefty against that lineup. Mighty will be on a short leash. No reason to wear him out or make him overwork. It's the last game of the series. So Seaver could be in early.

Stan Hack: Is Mighy ok, with the short leash thing?

Benton: I think he was ok with it. I let him know, but you'd really need to ask him.

Paul Pride: What about your lineup?

Benton: I'm not sure who he's starting, but I can tell you that Foxx will be at 3b and Potpie will be at first. Jeebs went 5 for 5 for cryiing out loud. If he can continue to play well and Wagner can do like he did last game...we've got a shot to win this thing...
