the ice-cold NL Pre WWII ballclub by a score of 4 to 1 at FOFC Stadium.
FOFC did all of it's offensive work in the 7th inning as they scored 4 runs on
6 base hits. The big moment was provided by K. A. Ton who elicited a roar
from the hometown fans when he delivered a one-base hit scoring two
baserunners. NL Pre WWII was out-hit by FOFC, 9 hits to 5.
The victory was credited to James Rodney(6-2) who went 1 inning, allowing no
runs. Sammy Knowles recorded his 15th save. Pete Alexander(10-6) was hit
with the loss. He allowed 9 hits and 2 walks in 8 innings.
