Friday May 3rd: Stars (14-13) At Padres (11-17)
A 3 run double from Jose Canseco in the first inning off of Nagy put them out in front. We would scrape back and Nagy would leave having gone 5.2 innings with the score tied at 4. Our pen would keep the game tied into the bottom of the 12th when the won it. A tough loss but Abbott and Hope pitched well in relief, our offense just couldn't back them up. Spiers and Jordan each had 3 hits. Bip Roberts went 3-5 with 4 steals for those jerks.

Saturday May 4th: Stars (14-14) At Padres (12-17)
Shane Reynolds gave up 4 runs in 7 innings and Jim Deshaies shut us out on 4 hits as we looked lifeless again. Our bats really need to wake up. Wes Chamberlain had 2 hits.

Sunday May 5th: Stars (14-15) At Padres (13-17)
Steve Cook struck out 9 over 8 innings of shutout ball. Bill Spiers hit a 3 run inside the park homer in the 6th and Helton added 3 hits as we salvage a game from the series and head home with a 15-15 record.
