The Bhut Jolokia was the hottest pepper a couple of years ago, rating out at just over 1,000,000 Scoville units (a jalapeno is ~3,000). Now someone has grown a pepper that rates out at 1,500,000 Scoville units. Here is the story and video account of someone trying a small piece:
