And I say that as a person who has not listened to terrestrial radio (sorry JIMGa) intentionally in at least five years. I am still shocked to hear people say something like "I heard them talking on the radio about (insert local team)..." and realize they are talking about the local sports talk station.
I am guessing this is a way to secure all the ad revenue for the team. I do wonder what the net will be of people who stop listening now that it is off terrestrial radio compared to people who start listening because it is streaming.
