The Georgian Conquest of Sivas

As Georgia's influence in Eastern Europe and Western Asia continues to grow, King Giorgi VIII is becoming bolder with each subsequent declaration of war and land grab. His eyes have once again turned to the mighty Ottomans, trying to take provinces from them bit by bit. Now Sivas is the goal as Giorgi's sphere of influences becomes greater.

War has been declared and the sides are set. Can Giorgi continue his conquests, etching his name deeper into the rock of Georgian history?

We have Commonwealth, Spain, Wallachia and all of their vassals along for the ride with us.

The Church is a large landowner and this has brought a great deal of wealth to the Church. The non-possessors claim that the Church is being corrupted by this great wealth. Their opponents argue that the Church needs this wealth to carry out its holy mission. The key thing is the Church isn't really a big taxpayer, if it was forced to give its land away it would move into the hands of people we can tax. The downside would be the Church would have less wealth to perform its mission.

King Giorgi VIII supports the movement. -5 Patriarchal Authority (0), -1 inflation (0.60%)
