This is exactly me. Wasn't familiar with the source material for the Leftovers or for this show and loved the crazyness of both of them. Probably hardcore fans had nitpicks with both but I was oblivious. I'm the opposite with Dark Tower. Couldnt understand how they made it into a 2 hour movie and was surely be disappointed with a series.
