We sign 16 y/o DC Jon Holland to a youth contract. Good tackling & heading skills, just a lot of work to do in all other physical & mental aspects, but he's young.

Our Reserves got a 3-1 win over Dunston in a fitness friendly. Clarke-Harris had a goal & was MOM (8.2), Adam Forster (7.4) also stood out.

Youth GK Rob Fry suffered a chest injury during weight training, he'll miss 3-4 weeks.

With more than a week off, we play another friendly at Hearts, mostly for fitness but also to get the $12k check they'll pay for the match. It was a charming affair from the outset, with Sam Sawyer getting a red card at 8'. Sinclair gets sent off at 24' for his second yellow card. We trailed 3-1 at the half, lost 7-1. Hands scored our only goal, Gonzalez allowed four goals in just 30 minutes of second half action. We were outshot 35-3.
