Let's be honest: nothing is going to sell those out, not unless the opponent suddenly gets really good AND Tech suddenly gets good too.

The difference seems fairly negligible if you think about it.
Attendance for Alcorn State & Bowling Green this year was right at 40,000 each. Miami -- who draws better than the vast majority of possible opponents - drew 48,000. 8,000 more seats at about $40 a ticket is $320k ... in an athletic department budget of $84 million.
Mercer, Jacksonville State, Tulane, and Georgia Southern have all outdrawn the majority of conference opponents in the past few years.
