Yi-ping Yei put up some real solid numbers to sew up the Continental League Rookie of the Month honors this month.
In April he chalked up 26 hits, 2 home runs and drove in 5 runs. The
Leduc left fielder compiled a .283 average and a .327 OBP as he worked opposing pitchers for 4 walks.

Hartford deserved the honor, batting .321 with 1 home run and 7 RBI. Is the month of April a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let
