The Cardinals score one in the 3rd on an RBI double by Nate McLouth, and add one more in the 4th on a Matt Adams solo HR. In the 5th, Jimmy Rollins and Nate McLouth lead off with back-to-back walks, and advance on a sac bunt by Matt Carpenter. Michael Cuddyer delivers a 2 run double, to put St Louis up 4-0.

Shelby Miller pitches 6 shutout innings, allowing 4 hits and 9 K's, and Tom Wilhelmson gets the 3 inning save, as the Cards beat Miami 4-0.

Anthony Rendon's Sac Fly drives in Jarrod Saltalamacchia in the 2nd, and Michael Cuddyer's double scores Nate McLouth in the third to give St Louis a 2-0 lead. They add another in the 5th, as McLouth triples and scores on a sac fly by Matt Carpenter. Joe Kelly pitchings a 1 hit shutout through 5, and David Carpenter, Trevor Rosenthal, and David Robertson pitch 4 innings of 1 hit shutout ball, to seal the Cardinals 3-0 lead.

And Oakland sweeps 3 from Baltimore, to tie SF for the WC2 spot
