If you only care about being the winner, rather than advancing, then you simply must load up massively on the right SB combo. Doing so seems to require that you eke out just enough points in the early rounds to not be eliminated.
Affording deep rosters on the #1 seeds is staggeringly expensive. I’m still considering it, though. For now, using one long longshot, but I think I’m spending too much on the early rounds.
