For me, I don't care. I didn't care about high school graduation or college graduation. Police academy felt like more of an accomplishment, but I could have done without the ceremony. The awards ceremonies for police work for my near death, my second near death The mass shooting. I don't really care.
But. All of these ceremonies were/would be a big deal for my family members. And I'd feel and do feel bad they didn't/don't get to be there for them.
