Our second game of the season features a battle of strength vs strength as the Saskatoon Storm host the Montreal Machine.
Saskatoon has based it's offense on a 2 HB option style offense featuring HB Malachi Wilson (1-3-1) and scrambling QB Dylan Henderson(1-2-1). A trio of brusing OL lead the way upfront Sam Smith (3-1-3), Amari Moses (2-2-1) and Gord Boroski (1-2-2). The def is balanced but no one stands out.
Montreal led their draft with 7 consecutive defensive picks. Everyone on the defense hates to give up run yards from two hulking DL upfront in Mitchell Jones (1-3-2) and Julian Castle (0-2-2) to LB Nick Barnes (0-3-2) and Thurman Leonhardt (2-3-0).
Offensively, only HB Arhippa Heino (1-2-0) and WR Kevin Ogletree (2-0-0) standout.
