We had this happen to us last year when we rode the safari - an elderly couple just followed us in and yeah it was a tight squeeze. It wouldn't kill the CM there to pay attention so that this doesn't happen.
Agree with your comments on AKV- it is an awesome place. My only complaints the one time we stayed there were that we were on the far end so with the buildings shaped like a horseshoe it was a really long walk to the room and that it was so far from Magic Kingdom. Obviously with you only going to AK and DHS it wasn't that bad. Definitely amazing to be able to walk out on your balcony and see exotic animals though.
