El Stinko McPhearson needs to be discussed. Why was Rex Alstott such a failure?
He is a better QB, no question, then QB Tony Clements. By all rights, he SHOULD have had a good year.
Could it have been pressure? Doubtful. He was 5th lowest sacks in the league. He had a sufficient running game. He had two WRs that were good in Owens and Paradis.
He had all of the recipes for success. What was his failure?
Perhaps it was Rex Alstott himself.
