The 2010 NFL Amateur Draft

We pick 11 and 12 in the 1st round

There are some good players, I just hope two are still on the board when we pick.

Needs:

Starting: QB, TE, WR, OG, DE, LB maybe, Sx2
Backup: QB, RBx2, TE, WRx2, C, OGx2, OT, DT, CB, S

Corpus Christi drafts first again and takes a QB again.

We pick at 11.

Worthy 1st round players

Starting caliber RB, which is rare.
Great LB, which is not as much of a need
Strong WR
Massively awesome CB (91,100,100,100)
A good OG

One pick is easy.

I take LB Ed Feely from Vanderbilt , because he is really good. I’m BAPing this.

Need with OG Hanks? 67/66/65 stats. Or try for the homerun at corner?

I simply cannot, in good conscience, disagree with my scout who is very good at the secondary and very good with young talent who says this guy is a mega super star.

The 2nd round arrives. There is another homerun hitter on the board so I grab a TE. Could be absolutely amazing, could be a bust. Let’s swing for that fence. Has massive bars. 100 in lots of stuff.

3rd round, ding dong

The best player on the board, in my opinion, is an OT. Then I take my franchise QB, perhaps.

Draft Recap:

1/11 - LB Ed Feely, Vanderbilt
1/12 - CB Leon Morabito, Southern Methodist
2 - TE Ed Gardener, Washington
3 - OT OJ Sellers, Princeton
4 - QB Scott Johan, North Carolina State
5/11 - OG Jerome Frederick, Northeastern
5/16 - FB Danny Gerhardt, Kansas State
6 - S Reggie Jenkins, Bemidji State
7 - TE Roosevelt Battles, Georgia State

How many of the top ones will proves to be long term hits?
