Hernández Crowned Batter of the Month in August

Ramón Hernández put his mark on the Continental League this August by putting together some award-winning numbers.
Baltimore's left fielder took home the Batter of the Month award on the strength of his .358 batting average.
He tacked up 44 hits, 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
So far this season
Hernández has hit .350 with 21 home runs, 93 RBIs and and scored 90 times.
Rich Earns August's Top Batter Prize in RL

August's Batter of the Month Award has been given out by the Republic League. This month's trophy was presented to the
Atlanta right fielder,
Quentin Rich.
He starred by hitting .307 with a .339 on-base percentage, totaled 35 hits in 114 at-bats, 9 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 20 runs.
Rich is batting .322 this year with 33 home runs, 88 RBIs and 100 runs scored. He has 187 hits in 580 at-bats.
