I want dominance in the Great Sea, but I also know that any naval trading power, no matter how big or small, needs to colonize in this era. Much like the Dutch, the Portugese, the Swedish, the Portugese, etc all expanded in this area as naval powers, so should I. In this game I know there at least was a Venetian colony somewhere, because I saw the colonists leave.
Where my colonies will be, however, has yet to be determined.
