13 August, 1554 – NSD: Amazones Gulf. We’ve found land. Let’s sail north or south along it….north! Great Britain is already here, I see one of her fleets.

18 August, 1554 – NSD: Bay of Belam, NLD: Surinam, unclaimed SUGAR

23 August, 1554 – NSD: Guyana Coast, NLD: Essequibo, another unclaimed SUGAR. A Castillean navy is here.

27 August, 1554 – NSD: Winward Islands.

13 December, 1554 – NLD: Turks Island. We discovered this while sailing by. It’s a nice island, with COTTON as its resource. It also has a low native population. I think that this will be our next colony settlement in January 1. I want at least an outpost here that’s mine. This will suffice.

I order colonists to Turks Island. The chance of connection is 64 percent. There are 1000 natives but they are quite passive.
