Whether
Jacob Cooper stays in
Ann Arbor beyond this season remains to be seen, but while he's here he's making the most of it. In September the 29-year-old certainly pulled out all the stops by winning the Republic League Pitcher of the Month award.
He put up some fancy numbers with a 3-0 record and and an ERA of 2.13. In 38 innings he struck out 34, surrendered 33 hits, 3 walks and proved to be a solid performer in 6 starts last month.
In 32 starts this season
Cooper has gathered 19 wins while suffering 3 losses. He has pitched 213.2 innings, allowed 194 hits, struck out 175 and has a 2.82 ERA.
